On a small estate in the province of Gelderland lies this romantic and comfortable forest cottage. The privately situated cottage preserves the atmosphere of past days and is equipped with all modern conveniences at the same time. The adjacent deep woods are among the most beautiful and extensive in the Veluwe region. To fully enjoy the surroundings, we recommend a stay of 3 nights or longer.

The nature house is suitable for 2 people and is located in a small private forest with a field surrounding it. You have a lot of privacy. From the property, you can walk directly into the woods which are the habitat of many (protected) species, including deer, wild boars and wolves.

The cottage has the layout of a studio with a half-open kitchen. There is a cozy sitting area with a fireplace, dining table and chairs, a bed (160x200 box spring with firm mattress) and a complete kitchenette with a 4-burner stove, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is a separate luxurious bathroom with underfloor heating. The cottage further includes a smart TV, DVD, WIFI and central heating. The cottage is tastefully finished with wood paneling, and has a terrace with garden table and chairs outside. There are also two outdoor recliners.

Surroundings
The cottage is located about 400 meters from the village Vierhouten. You can go there for groceries. You can also go hiking or cycling in the vicinity. Want to grab a drink or a snack on a terrace? Then visit the Hanseatic city of Deventer which is about 20 kilometers from this accommodation. Harderwijk is only fifteen minutes away by car.

Dogs are allowed (€45 for 1 dog per stay). Please read the house rules concerning dogs and reach out after your booking to communicate that you are bringing a dog. NB: the dog must be kept on a leash outside on the grounds because of free-roaming chickens.
