Enjoy the peace in a historic forest cottage

Just outside the Frisian village of Burgum stands this authentic forest farmhouse from the 19th century. Although this B&B is equipped with all modern comforts, there is still an atmosphere that reminds you of days long gone....

The house is furnished with classic and authentic furniture, making your stay a real adventure. Experience how people lived 100 years ago! The cottage has a front room with a built-in closet and bedstead, a basement, a living room/kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a mezzanine with 2 single beds, and a bathroom with a sink, rain / walk-in shower, and toilet. There is sleeping space for at least 4 adults. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, extractor, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, Senseo coffee machine, filter coffee machine and kettle. The whole house is heated by underfloor heating, there is a fireplace and in the front room.

Surroundings
The vicinity of the house offers plenty to do. For example, you may go for a nice walk in the woods. From the cottage, it is only a 200-meter walk to the forest. Other fun attractions and day trips such as the Soestpolder nature reserve with its watchtower, the Observeum (observatory and regional museum), a clog factory with a museum, the AquaZoo and the Fries Museum are all less than fifteen minutes away. Feel free to ask the landlord for the best sights.
