Stay in a unique house on a raft

Are you an adventurer and nature lover? Then this overnight stay on a raft in the middle of nature is really something you must experience! The raft has been designed by the landlord out of a passion for nature and hospitality. This cabin on the water offers a creative and contemporary accommodation option for a unique experience. Experience tranquility, enjoy nature and discover the unique environment at this nature cottage! The 'lodge' can be rented per night and is therefore ideal for a getaway, cycling, walking or slooping vacation.

The facilities are basic, but there's all you need. It's mainly the experience that counts. Spending the night on the raft feels like camping on the water, but with your own toilet. And you can swim from your own deck. The water lodge is accessible from land and water. It is perfect for two people, but expandable to four.

On the raft, you have everything at your disposal for an independent stay. Inside, there is a fixed sleeping area with a double bed with pillows. There is a possibility to book 2 extra beds (as an extension of the normal bed). There is also a toilet, drinking water tank, stove (2 burner gas), kitchen inventory, lighting, limited electricity, chairs and a terrace with a swimming ladder. On the raft, you will also find an outdoor shower. The raft is well insulated and there is a heater available, so you can stay here in early spring or late summer as well.

Materials such as a sleeping bag, sheets, pillowcase, pocket knife and toiletries should be brought by yourself. It is also possible to book a sleeping package. The sleeping package consists of a comforter, bedsheet, comforter cover and 2 pillowcases. Costs are 7.50 euros per person.

Surroundings
The raft is located near the historic Fort Uitermeer. Fort Uitermeer is part of the Old and New Dutch Waterline and the Defence Line of Amsterdam. Next to the fort, there is a pavilion restaurant where you can enjoy coffee and cake, lunch or dinner after a bike ride. The walking route 'Rondje Naardermeer' also passes by the fort. The raft is quietly situated in a bay in the sloop harbor, surrounded by the nature reserve of among others the Naardermeer and the Vecht. From here you have various options for activities, including walking, cycling, or canoeing on the Vecht. A special canoe landing spot makes it easy to explore the Vecht and its creeks by canoe or kayak. It is possible to rent a canoe on the spot.
