About this accommodation
This unique accommodation is located directly on and adjacent to the Sneekermeer. The lively marina where the boat is located offers numerous water sports possibilities and a beach club with a restaurant! From the living room, you have a splendid view of the open water through the large windows. You can see the boats, sailors and beautiful 'skûtsjesilen' passing by. But you can also see a wide variety of waterbirds. Moments that will you will cherish forever!
The accommodation
This houseboat is suitable for four people. On the terrace at the front (12.5m2) or at the back (6m2) you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Through the double sliding doors, you step into the living room. Take a seat on the comfortable corner sofa in front of the flat screen television, or gaze thoughtlessly over the water. Even on colder days, the houseboat offers you a cosy atmospheric shelter. The round portholes really make you feel like you're on a ship. The open kitchen is fully equipped. Think of a gas stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with freezer, a kettle and a 'Nespresso' machine. In addition, there is a dining table for four. The perfect place to enjoy breakfast and dinner with your close ones. At the back of the houseboat you will find a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. There are also two bedrooms with two double box-spring beds (160x200 cm) and their own closets. There is also a folding baby bed (60x120 cm) and a high chair. Through one of the bedrooms you get to the terrace at the back. Through this terrace, you can use a straight staircase to the spacious roof terrace (about 30 m2), where the sun can be enjoyed all day.
The accommodation has two private parking spaces. There are more parking facilities in the immediate vicinity.
The surroundings
The area is full of beautiful hiking trails and biking tours. In the harbour, you can rent paddleboards and sailboats to explore the area by water. The city of 'Sneek' is a 10-minute drive away. 'Sneek's' beach is accessible via a nice walk. The beach has a large terrace with a nice restaurant, where you can water ski and take a dip. You can also explore the nearby places, 'Ter Herne' or 'Goingarijp' where you can have a drink and eat out.
