Located in a quiet resort in a beautiful spot in Bavaria, Germany (near the Czech border), just five meters from a natural swimming lake, this luxury cabin features a private hot tub on its own terrace. From the terrace, you have a direct view of the water and can walk straight onto your private dock, where a SUP board is waiting for you. This is an ideal place to stay for up to two adults and two children (ages 3 to 12), or for two people who want to relax in peace and quiet in the heart of Steinwald Nature Park.

The Accommodation
The detached cabin is thoughtfully and comfortably furnished. Inside, you’ll find a bright living and dining area with a Smart TV and a fully equipped open kitchen featuring an induction cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and an espresso machine with a milk frother (no oven). Everything is ready for a relaxing start, from made-up beds and towels to basic spices, oil, coffee, and tea. The modern bathroom features a rain shower, sink, and toilet. The bedroom area on the ground floor is separated from the living area by a door. For children, there’s a separate sleeping loft, accessible via a steep staircase. Please note regarding the sleeping loft: the ceiling height is a maximum of 80 cm, and the space can get warm in the summer (a small fan is provided).

On the terrace, complete with patio furniture, you’ll find your own hot tub. Here you can relax in the bubbles while enjoying a view of the lake; a large bath towel per person is already provided. And with your own SUP board at your dock, you can explore the swimming lake right from your accommodation.

The Park
The resort offers nice extras, such as a cozy restaurant serving Bavarian dishes and tapas, a waterfront beach café, and a convenient laundromat in the main building. There are also sports fields and playground equipment for children. Parking is available near the accommodation.

The Surroundings
From the park, you can easily walk or bike right into nature, passing impressive granite cliffs, centuries-old castle ruins, and picturesque Bavarian villages. The region is peaceful and free of mass tourism. A short distance away, the Oberpfalzturm offers a stunning view of the surrounding area. Other highlights include the world’s deepest scientific drilling tower (KTB), the volcano museum in Parkstein, and the Waldnaabtal nature reserve. You can round out the day in a traditional Biergarten or at a local Zoigl brewery. A trip to the shopping town of Weiden, the Fichtelgebirge, or the Czech border is also just a short drive away.
